A fundamental element of the hospital's healthcare policy is the use of information technology to support its mission objectives in optimising the patient care process. It is recognised as having made significant advances in informatics and the use of information technology to support its objectives, as a result, the range of information systems implemented and utilised throughout the hospital extends far beyond that existing in most hospitals in the UK, Europe and in the United States of America.
