Transforming Healthcare in the New Europe
23rd - 25th June 2004, National College of Ireland, IFSC, Dublin 1

Dear Colleague,

Europe is transforming. On 1st May 2004 we welcome 10 new member states into a newly enlarged Europe. In recognition of the challenges and opportunities facing the healthcare sector in current and new member countries, we are delighted to announce an international conference, "Transforming Healthcare in the New Europe"

The conference, to coincide with Ireland's Presidency of the European Union will examine a range of critical issues facing healthcare and seek to address the reforms and developments in public-based healthcare delivery, and opportunities for private sector healthcare providers to play an important role in the health of Europe.

The conference is particularly aimed at:

  • Leading planners and policy-makers within public and private healthcare in Europe
  • Senior executives from the pharmaceutical and related sectors and from major suppliers of services and goods to the healthcare sector
  • Representatives from healthcare insurance providers
  • Senior Clinicians and registrars in the public and private sector
  • Local and National political representatives

We believe that this conference will bring together key decision makers across Europe and beyond to explore the future of healthcare in Europe; we would be delighted if you could join us.

Sincerely
